The LIFE BEETLES project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, recently participated in the Flores Nature Advisory Board.
The team took the opportunity to present to the board members the development of the various actions taking place on this island, namely the progress in the control of invasive species in the Lajes’ streams and the Planalto Central and Ferros Velhos areas.
Integrated in action F.2 – Governance and Advisory Boards, this is an excellent tool to involve the different stakeholders in the project, as well as to promote the discussion and integration of ideas and concerns that may contribute to the dissemination and resolution of operational problems that the project may face during its implementation.
