Last June, the LIFE BEETLES project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, took part in the Terceira Nature Park Advisory Board. In this Advisory Board, the project manager presented the progress of the nature conservation work carried out by the project on Terceira island, namely the planting of more than 2,300 native plants, together with the stabilisation of slopes using natural engineering, as well as the continued control of invasive plant species in the project’s areas of intervention.

Attending these annual meetings is an excellent tool for involving the different stakeholders in the project and promoting the discussion and integration of ideas and concerns that could contribute to the dissemination, integration, and resolution of operational problems that the project may face throughout its implementation.
