Invited by Expolab – Live Science Center, the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, LIFE BEETLES, and LIFE SNAILS projects, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, participated in the Stakeholders meeting within the scope of the LEVERs project (Learning Ventures for Climate Justice).
The LEVERs project seeks to promote capacity building and innovative scientific literacy, encouraging active citizen participation in environmental issues and the mitigation of climate crises and biodiversity loss.
The event facilitated contact and the exchange of experiences among various entities promoting environmental education and disseminating scientific knowledge in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, creating a new collaborative network for transmitting knowledge and promoting these islands’ Laurisilva Forest.
