The LIFE BEETLES project was at the 2024 Agricultural Fair in collaboration with the Pico Environment and Climate Change Service.
The Agricultural Fair, an event organised by the Regional Government of the Azores and the Pico Agricultural Association, took place in Matos Souto on the island of Pico and featured a space to publicise the activities of various public and private entities on the island.
At the exhibition stand of the Pico Environment and Climate Action Service, the LIFE BEETLES project publicised to the general public its main conservation objectives and the project’s three target species: the Ground Beetle on the island of Pico, the Ground Beetle on the island of Terceira and the Ironclad Beetle on the island of Flores.
