The LIFE BEETLES project, at the invitation of the Parish Council of Prainha, on the island of Pico, as part of the Easter Active Holidays, promoted an activity where it was possible to walk in search of local Biodiversity under a magnifying glass, also not missing the traditional “Egg Hunt”.
The focus was on insects, since this project, from the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, aims to improve and increase the availability of habitat for three species of endemic beetles, on the islands of Pico, Terceira and Flores.
