The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change participates in the V Edition of the Environment Fair, taking place from the 20th to the 26th of May, at Praia da Vitória Marina, Terceira island.
Through various educational activities and lectures, aimed at the school public and the community in general, we intend to share about the Azores Geopark and the 5 LIFE projects undergoing in the Azores, namely VIDALIA, IP AZORES NATURA, BEETLES, IP CLIMAZ and, the most recent, SNAILS.
We invite you to visit and find out more about these projects that have been contributing to the strengthening of the preservation of the region’s natural heritage and to the awareness and involvement of the Azorean population in the protection of our biodiversity.
The LIFE BEETLES project will be present with a lecture entitled “The importance of the conservation of endemic insects in the Azores” and an activity for schools “Entomologist for a day”.
